AHC Announces New Community Engagement Coordinator

Tamisha Cheatham will join the Council as Coordinator for Community Engagement.

The Arkansas Humanities Council is pleased to announce that Ms. Tamisha Cheatham will be joining our team as Coordinator for Community Engagement on June 1, 2018. She will be responsible for developing and managing statewide programs including community forums, workshops, and grant initiatives. Tamisha will manage AHC’s social media platforms; and develop and maintain strategic partnerships with community and business leaders, schools, and nonprofit organizations.

Tamisha attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where she received a BA in History (2005) and MA in Public History (2013). Tamisha is currently Project Coordinator for the UA Little Rock Anderson Institute on Race and Ethnicity where she plans and facilitates community workshops and public forums that explore and discuss racial equity in Arkansas.
