Grants

To achieve its purpose, the Arkansas Humanities Council awards grants through a competitive process to nonprofit groups and organizations that allow them to plan and conduct projects in the humanities for Arkansas audiences, in addition to teachers and schools for professional development credits and engaging learning opportunities outside of the classroom.

Grant Descriptions

We offer a wide range of grants, including major and mini-grants for humanities projects; grants for teachers, classroom projects, and field trips; and funding for making the humanities accessible, as well as Black history and museum collections grants.
